29 New COVID Cases Reported

The province is reporting 29 new cases of COVID-19 today.

There are no new cases to report in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

There are 21 new cases in the Central Zone, with six in the Northern Zone and two in the Western Zone.

The province is also reporting 37 recoveries today, bringing its total number of confirmed active cases to 184.

One of those cases is in the Regional Municipality.

18 people in the province are now in hospital with the virus, including six people in intensive care.

Premier Tim Houston and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang are scheduled to give another COVID-19 update at 11:00 tomorrow morning.
