Cabinet Minister Diagnosed With COVID-19

A Nova Scotia Cabinet Minister has announced she’s tested positive for COVID-19.

Public Works Minister Kim Masland says she got her diagnosis this morning and doesn’t know how she contracted the virus.

She says she tested negative when she got a test on Thursday.

Masland says she’s fully vaccinated and her symptoms are mild.

She says she’s working with public health to trace all of her contacts.
