Weather Affecting Ferry Travel In Cape Breton

The Englishtown ferry is out of service this morning because of weather conditions.

Meanwhile, Marine Atlantic has postponed this morning’s ferry crossings from North Sydney and Port aux Basques also because of weather conditions.

The Crown Corporation says it expects tonight’s crossings will be affected by the weather, as well.

There’s still a gale warning in effect for the Cabot Strait.

Seas are forecast to build to between 5 and 7 metres this morning before going down to between 3 and 5 this evening.
