40 More COVID Cases Reported

The province is reporting 40 new cases of COVID-19 today.

There are no new cases in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

There are 34 new cases in the Central Zone, four in the Western Zone and two in the Northern Zone.

The province is also reporting 22 more recoveries today.

There’s now a total of 248 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including five in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network.

17 people in the province are now in hospital with the virus, including four people in intensive care.
