Woman Dead, Man Seriously Injured After Hillside Boularderie Crash

RCMP say a 53 year-old Newfoundland woman is dead after a motorcycle crash on the 105 Trans Canada in Hillside Boularderie, yesterday morning.

The Mounties say they got notified about the crash shortly before 9:30.

They say the driver lost control and both he and his passenger were thrown.

Police say the 58-year-old man from Newfoundland who was the driver, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
