Person Dies In New Waterford Fire

Regional Police say a person has died after a fire in New Waterford this morning.

They say officers were called to a house fire on Miner Avenue at about 6:00.

Firefighters were already there and found the person’s body inside the home.

The Medical Examiner will be investigating the person’s cause of death and will try to confirm their identity.
