Hearing Adjourned For Man Accused In New Haven Killing

A 22 year-old New Haven man charged in the death of Gordon Budge in Victoria County is now due back in court next month.

Brian Coady Rose faces a count of second degree murder after the body of the 77 year-old was found near a home in New Haven on August 30th.

RCMP say Budge died under suspicious circumstances but have not released more details about the death.

They say their investigation continues.

Rose had a plea hearing scheduled today but the hearing was adjourned.

He’s now due back in court for a status hearing on October 18th and a plea hearing on October 29th.
