66 New COVID Cases Reported

The province is reporting 66 new cases of COVID-19 today.

61 of the new cases are in the Northern Zone, where health officials say there’s a cluster of cases among a group that’s mostly unvaccinated.

Five of the cases reported today are in the Central Zone.

There are no new cases in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

With 18 new recoveries, there’s now a total of 173 known active cases of COVID-19 in the province, including two in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network.

Four people in the province are in hospital with the virus.
