Possible high-risk COVID-19 exposure aboard WestJet flight

Public health is advising the public about a high-risk exposure to COVID-19 aboard a WestJet flight into Halifax last week.

Anyone aboard WestJet flight 248, departing Toronto the morning of Monday, August 23, is being asked to self monitor for COVID symptoms.

Passengers in rows 3-9, seats C, D, E, and F, should book a COVID test as soon as possible.

Public health says anyone exposed to the virus on this flight may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 6.
