by A 24-year-old Whitney Pier man has died after a jet ski he was on overturned on Bras d’Or Lake yesterday.
Police say they were called at around a quarter to four in the afternoon.
They say two men were riding the jet ski when it overturned; one swam to shore to get help, while the other stayed with the craft.
Police, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, and ground search teams spent the night searching for the missing jet skier; his body was found along the shore near Ross Ferry at around eight this morning.
