Sentencing Adjourned For Man Accused In Baby’s Death

A sentencing hearing was adjourned today for a Glace Bay man who pleaded guilty to criminal negligence in the 2019 death of his four-month-old son.

Jason Wayne Comer is now due to be sentenced on July 30th.

Comer changed his plea to guilty in the case during a court appearance in April.

A second charge of failing to provide the necessities of life will be dropped.

44 year-old Comer continues his release on conditions.
