NS Reports One New COVID Case

The province is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.

The new case is in the Central Zone and is related to travel.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang says they’re still seeing clusters of cases in Glace Bay and Halifax but there’s no sign of broader community spread.

The province is reporting six more recoveries today and the total number of confirmed active cases is now 39.

Those include 13 cases in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

One person in the province is in hospital with the virus and that person is in intensive care.
