Eight new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, four in CBRM

Nova Scotia reported eight new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, including four in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

Three of the new cases are close contacts of previously reported cases, while one is under investigation.

The number of known, active cases in the regional municipality has risen to 13.

Province-wide, three Nova Scotians have recovered, bringing the number of active cases in the province to 52.

Two people are still in hospital with COVID-19, neither of them in intensive care.
