The one new case of COVID-19 reported today by the province is in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
The new case is a close contact of a previously reported case.
One person in the municipality has recovered; the number of known, active cases here stands at nine.
Province-wide, seven Nova Scotians have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the number of known, active cases in the province to 51.
Two people are still in hospital, neither of them in intensive care.
