No New COVID Cases in Eastern Zone, 17 In NS

The province is reporting 17 new cases of COVID-19 today. 

There are no new cases today in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

All 17 of the latest cases are in the Central Zone.

The province is reporting 74 recoveries today, bringing the total number of confirmed active cases down to 448.

Those include 90 active cases in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

There are now 40 people in the province in hospital with the virus, including 16 in intensive care.
