Regional Police Say Two Crashes Being Investigated For Impaired Driving

Regional Police say two separate vehicle crashes that sent four people to hospital yesterday are being investigated for possible impaired driving.

Police got called to the first crash between two cars on Daley Road in Scotchtown at around 1:00, yesterday morning.

Police say the men driving both cars were taken to the Regional Hospital in Sydney.

They say the 26 and 19 year-olds suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and one of the drivers was thrown from his vehicle.

The second crash between a Chevrolet car and Nissan truck happened on Main Street in Glace Bay late yesterday afternoon.

Police say the 56 and 75 year-old men driving the vehicles were taken to the Regional Hospital for evaluation.

They say a third person who was a passenger in one of the vehicles was not hurt.
