Province Expanding Access To AZ Vaccine

The province will soon be opening up the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to people aged 40-54.

Premier Iain Rankin says people in that age group should be able to book an appointment for the vaccine sometime this week.

Meanwhile, Rankin is asking people working from home not to send their children to child care centres if they don’t have to.

He says space needs to be made in the centres for the children of essential workers.

Rankin says children will not lose their space if they’re kept home temporarily.
