Potential Exposure To COVID-19 At Six Sites In The Regional Municipality

Public Health is warning about potential exposure to COVID-19 at six locations in the Regional Municipality.

Anyone who was at five of the sites on a specific date and time is being told to book a COVID test, even if they don’t have symptoms.

They’re also being told to self-isolate until they get their results, and people who test negative no longer have to self-isolate.

The locations are the Tim Horton’s on Blowers Street in North Sydney between 7:30 in the morning and 2:30 in the afternoon on April 24th.

The Glace Bay Miners Forum from 5:15 in the evening and 7:15 at night on April 20th and between 8:30 and 10:30 in the morning on April 24th.

The Membertou Sport & Wellness Centre on April 20, 21 and April 22 between 3:00 in the afternoon and 5:30 in the evening.

Alexandra’s Pizza in Glace Bay between 9:30 and 11:30 in the morning on April 24th.

And Trio on the Esplanade in Sydney between 5:00 in the evening and 7:30 at night on April 24.

Meanwhile, anyone who worked at or visited the Canadian Tire in Glace Bay between 3:15 and 4:15 in the afternoon on April 23rd is being told to book a COVID-19 test, even if they don’t have symptoms.

However, they do not have to self-isolate while they wait for their results.
