Some Elective Surgeries Postponed at Glace Bay and Northside General Hospitals

The Health Authority says some elective surgeries at the Glace Bay and Northside General hospitals have been postponed to allow for increased COVID-19 testing.

A total of 34 ophthalmology surgeries, endoscopies, gynecological and dental surgeries scheduled for today and tomorrow have been affected.

The Health Authority says no other surgical procedures are affected at this time.
