NS Reports 15 New COVID Cases

The province is reporting 15 new cases of COVID-19 today.

Eight of the new cases are in the Central Zone, including those found at schools in the Halifax area yesterday.

Six of the new cases are in the Eastern Zone.

One is a close contact of a previously reported case and the others are related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.

There’s also a new case in the Western Zone that is related to travel outside the Atlantic Region.

There is now a total of 63 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including 18 cases in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and two cases in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

Two people in the province are now in hospital with the virus.
