People 60 And Older Can Now Get Moderna and Pfizer Vaccines

The province has lowered the age for people who can get the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

Starting today, people 60 and older can book appointments at community clinics and participating pharmacies and doctor’s offices.

The past cut-off was 65 and older.

Health officials say more appointments are being added continuously at new and existing clinics.

Meanwhile, there are still appointments available for the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine for people between the ages of 55 and 64.
