Nova Scotia reported eight new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, including five new cases in the Regional Municipality.
That brings the number of known, active cases in the municipality to 12.
Four of the cases are travel-related, while one is a close contact of a previously reported case.
The other cases are in the Central Zone with two, and the Western with one.
Six more people have recovered, bringing the number of known, active cases in Nova Scotia to 44.
Two people are still in hospital with the infection.
Since the pandemic began, 1,800 Nova Scotians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, 71 in the regional municipality.
One thousand six hundred and eighty-three people in the province have recovered from COVID-19.
