NS Reports Three New UK Variant Cases

The province is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 today and all three are cases of the UK variant.

Health officials say two of those people are from Cape Breton County and the other is from the Health Authority’s Western Zone, but all three are now living outside the province and have no known close contacts here.

There’s now a total of 42 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including seven in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network.

Four people in the province are now in hospital with the virus.
