Nova Scotia Health advises of possible COVID exposure on Newfoundland ferries

Nova Scotia Public Health says anyone who was aboard two Marine Atlantic ferry crossings earlier this month may have been exposed to COVID-19.

They’re asking passengers aboard the MV Blue Puttees departing North Sydney at 11:45 the morning of April 1 to book a COVID test immediately.

They say anyone exposed to the virus on that crossing may develop symptoms up to, and including, April 15.

Public health is also advising anyone aboard the Blue Puttees departing Port-aux-Basques at 12:30 the afternoon of April 6 to get tested as soon as possible.

They says anyone exposed to the virus on that trip may develop symptoms up to, and including, April 20.
