Potential COVID-19 Exposure On Marine Atlantic Ferry

Health officials in Newfoundland and Labrador are asking passengers and crew on a Marine Atlantic ferry that left North Sydney for Port aux Basques to get tested for COVID-19.

They say the affected ferry is the Blue Puttees that departed North Sydney last Thursday morning, April 1st.

The advisory comes after a man between the age of 60 and 69 tested positive for COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Health officials say they’re issuing the testing advisory out of an abundance of caution.
