The province is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 today, including one in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network.
Health officials say that person is a close contact of a previously reported case.
The other five new cases are in the Central Zone.
One is related to travel outside Atlantic Canada, three are close contacts of a previously reported case and one is under investigation.
The province is also reporting four new UK variant cases being identified today.
All four are in the Central Zone.
Two are close contacts of previous cases while the other two are related to international travel.
There’s now a total of 36 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.
Two of those cases are in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and two are in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.
