Nova Scotia is reporting nine new cases of COVID-19 today.
Five of the new cases are in the Western Zone, while four more cases have been identified in the Central.
Public health officials say five of the new cases are a group of international travellers; the remaining four are travel-related and all are self-isolating as required.
Two more people have recovered, bringing the number of known, active cases in Nova Scotia to 31.
One person is in hospital with the infection.
Since the pandemic began, 1,728 Nova Scotians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus; 57 in the Regional Municipality.
One thousand six hundred and twenty-nine people in the province have recovered from COVID-19.
