NS Reports No New COVID Cases, Earlier Cases Confirmed as Variants

The province is not reporting any new cases of COVID-19 today but it says some more variant cases have been found among earlier cases.

Two of the three UK Variant cases are in the Central Zone and are related to travel outside the country.

The other UK Variant was found in the Eastern Zone and was related to travel within the country.

Health officials say that person has recovered.

They also say there’s no sign of community spread from the variant cases at this time.

There’s now a total of 24 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

None of those cases are in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network while two are in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

One person in the province is in hospital with COVID-19.
