Spring Sitting Of Legislature Starts Today

The spring sitting of the Legislature starts today under a so-called hybrid model because of COVID-19.

The model will see most MLA’s joining the proceedings virtually.

Each of the three party caucuses will be allowed up to three members to sit in person.

The session will mark Iain Rankin’s first as premier.

The third session of the 63rd General Assembly will open officially at 1:00 this afternoon when Lieutenant-Governor Arthur J. Leblanc delivers the throne speech.
