Woman Charged In Sydney Murder Due Back In Court, Today

A 31 year-old woman who faces a second-degree murder charge in the death of a Sydney man nearly two years ago is due back in court today.

Mallory Ann Paul, from Millbrook, has been charged in the death of 80 year-old Douglas MacLeod Barrett.

His body was found in his home on Terrace Street on March 22^nd of 2019.

Regional Police say Paul was arrested at the Central Nova Correctional Centre in Truro where she was scheduled to be released last Wednesday.
