Province Reports Three New COVID Cases, Three New UK Variant Cases

The province is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 today, as well as three new cases of the more contagious UK variant.

Two of the latest variant cases are in the Central Zone and the other is in the Western Zone.

The people were tested earlier this month and are now self-isolating.

Their cases are being reinvestigated.

There’s now a total of six confirmed cases of the UK variant in the province.

There’s now a total of 20 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

Premier Iain Rankin will be giving his first COVID-19 briefing tomorrow with Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang.
