Province Reports One New COVID-19 Case

The province is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.

The case is in the Central Zone and is related to a previously reported case.

The person is self-isolating as required.

There’s now a total of nine confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

One person in the province is in hospital with the virus and is in intensive care.

Health officials say 20,013 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were given in the province as of yesterday.

Of those, 5,900 people got their second dose.
