One new COVID-19 case found in Nova Scotia

Provincial health authorities say they’ve identified one new case of COVID-19 today.

The new case is in the Central Zone, and is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.  The person is self-isolating as required.

The new case brings the number of known, active cases in Nova Scotia to eight.

One person remains in intensive care.

One thousand five hundred and eighty-five Nova Scotians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the pandemic began; 65 people have died.

One thousand five hundred and twelve people in the province have recovered from COVID-19.
