The province is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 today.

Both cases are in the Northern Zone.

One is related to travel outside Atlantic Canada, and the other involves a student at the French school in Truro.

The province says the school will be closed until Wednesday of next week to allow for cleaning, testing and contact tracing.

There are no new cases being reported in the Eastern Zone today, though Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting one new case connected to the one this province reported yesterday on the Marine Atlantic Blue Putees.

There’s now a total of 22 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

That’s down from 23 yesterday.
