No New COVID Cases Reported In NS

The province says there are no new COVID-19 cases to report today.

It says the case reported in the Eastern Zone yesterday involves a person who was tested in Nova Scotia but is from outside the province.

That case is being removed from the province’s total case count.

There’s now a total of 25 confirmed active cases of the virus in Nova Scotia.

Meanwhile, Premier Stephen McNeil says there will be an update on COVID-19 restrictions at the end of this week.

McNeil says it’s good to see low case numbers in the province but he’s urging people not to let their guard down.

McNeil and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang will be giving another COVID-19 update at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon.

A technical briefing updating the province’s vaccine program is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 1:30.
