Four new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including CBU student

Provincial health authorities say they’ve identified four new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia today, including a student at Cape Breton University.

The other three cases are in Central Zone; one is a close contact of a previously reported case, while the other cases are both related to travel outside Atlantic Canada.

Six more people have recovered, bringing the number of known, active cases in the province to 30.

1,554 Nova Scotians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the pandemic began; 65 people have died.

1,459 people in Nova Scotia have recovered from COVID-19.
