NS Reports Two More COVID Cases

The province is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 today with a total of 32 active cases.

One case is in the Northern Zone and the other is in the Central Zone.

Both cases are close contacts of previously reported cases.

During a briefing this afternoon, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang told reporters he’s concerned after hearing about people not being truthful when speaking with public health investigators who are trying to trace the transmission of COVID-19.

Strang also said today residents of two Cape Breton long-term care homes will be getting COVID-19 vaccinations next week.

The vaccinations will be given at the Harbourside Enhanced Care Home in Sydney and the Northside Community Guest Home.
