Wanted NB Man Arrested In Amherst

A wanted man who was the subject of an emergency alert across the province has been arrested in Amherst.

In a social media post from just after the noon hour, RCMP say 24 year-old Janson Bryan Baker was arrested without incident.

Police say Baker’s car was found abandoned in Amherst just before 8:00 this morning.

He was wanted after a man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in shooting yesterday near a high school in Riverview in the Moncton area.
