Province Reports 5 New COVID Cases

The province is reporting five new cases of COVID-19 today.

Two cases are in the Central Zone.

One is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada and the other is under investigation.

There are also two new cases in the Western Zone and one in the Northern Zone.

The province says those three cases involve close contacts of earlier reported cases.

There’s now a total of 57 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

No one in the province is currently in hospital with the virus.

Premier Stephen McNeil and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang will be giving another COVID-19 update at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon.
