Cape Breton November Unemployment Rate 11.4 %

Stats Canada says Cape Breton’s unemployment rate was 11.4 percent, last month.

That’s a drop of 1.2 percent points from October and a .5 percentage point drop compared to November of last year.

Meanwhile the national jobless rate fell four-tenths of percentage point in November to 8.5 percent.

The federal agency says 62,000 jobs were created in Canada in November, after an increase of 84,000 in October.
