The woman accused of a recent armed robbery in Sydney appeared in court today.

32 year-old Marianne Aubrecht from Sydney is charged with Robbery, Wearing a Disguise with Intent and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

Regional Police say they got a call to the Esso gas station on Prince Street at about 5:00 Tuesday evening after a woman armed with a knife demanded money from staff.

No one was hurt.

Police say Aubrecht was arrested outside a home on Ashby Road yesterday afternoon.

Her case is due back in court tomorrow for a bail hearing.
