10 New COVID Cases In NS

The province is reporting ten new cases of COVID-19 today.

All of the cases are in the Central Zone.

Nova Scotia now has a total of 142 confirmed active cases of COVID-19.

No one in the province is currently in hospital with the virus.

The province also announced today it’s making mobile testing units available to support more testing in communities that need it.

One of the units is being sent to a school in Kings County where two COVID-19 cases have been found.

There’s also a change today to rules applying to long-term care homes where the number of designated caregivers for each resident has been reduced from 2 to 1.
