New COVID Case Reported In NS

The province is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.

The new case is in the Central Zone and health officials say the person is a close contact of a previously reported case.

There are now 16 confirmed active COVID-19 cases in the province.

Health Authority labs completed 658 Nova Scotia tests yesterday.

To date, Nova Scotia has had 117,623 negative test results and 1,129 positive COVID-19 cases.

65 people have died.
