Four new cases of COVID-19 reported in Nova Scotia

Provincial health authorities say they’ve identified 4 new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

Officials say the new cases are in the Central Zone; two are related to travel outside of the Atlantic region, while the other two are close contacts of previously-reported cases.

The new cases bring the number of known, active cases of COVID in the province to 20.

1,125 Nova Scotians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the pandemic began; 65 people have died.

1,040 Nova Scotians have recovered from COVID-19.
