NS Reports New COVID Case

The province is reporting another new case of COVID-19 today.

The new case is in the Northern Zone and is now being investigated by health officials.

New cases have now been reported in the province for five days in a row but Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang says there’s no evidence yet of community spread.

There’s now a total of 16 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in the province.

Strang says keeping the pandemic at bay is going to require everybody following public health rules.
