Glace Bay Man Facing Drug and Weapons Charges

A 45-year-old Glace Bay man is due back in Sydney court for a bail hearing tomorrow as he faces a number of drug and weapons charges.

Brian Augustine Deruelle’s lawyer asked for an adjournment when the case was in court today.

Deruelle was charged after Regional Police searched a home on Shaft Street in Glace Bay yesterday evening.

Police say they found Cocaine, Ritalin, Buprenorphine, Hydromorphone and drug paraphernalia in the home.

They also say they found weapons, including a gun and ammunition.
