CB Man Charged After Fatal Crash

RCMP say a Cape Breton man has been arrested after a fatal single-vehicle crash in the Halifax area this morning.

They say they got a call shortly after 5:00 this morning about a crash on Highway 3 in Hubley.

They say a 28 year-old man who’d been living in Halifax was found dead in the vehicle and a 28 year-old man from Cape Breton was found nearby and brought to hospital.

The man, who hasn’t been named, is facing a number of charges, including Impaired Driving Causing Death and Theft of a Motor Vehicle and police say more charges are expected.

RCMP say they’ve learned there may have been three other passengers in the vehicle and they also have information suggesting two women were on the scene but left before officers arrived.

Police are asking all of those people to come forward.
