Nova Scotia Reports One New COVID-19 Case

The province is reporting a new case of COVID-19.

Health officials say the person affected travelled outside the province and they had been self-isolating as required.

It’s the province’s only active case.

Premier Stephen MacNeil says Nova Scotia is making progress in stopping the spread of COVID-19, but the reality is, there will be more cases.

He says he’s asking everyone to keep following public health advice.

Yesterday marked 20 days in a row with any new cases of the coronavirus.

63 people have died.

There are two people in hospital, but their infections are considered resolved.
