The province has raised the limit of people who can gather in one place from five to ten.
The change takes effect immediately and is one of a number of measures announced today to relax COVID-19 restrictions.
An exception has been made for outdoor weddings and funerals where up to 15 people can now gather.
However, anyone involved in the larger gatherings will still have to follow physical distancing and other public health rules.
Other new measures include allowing private campgrounds to re-open a week from today but only at 50 percent capacity.
Provincial campgrounds will re-open on June 15th, also at reduced capacity.
The changes come on a day when the province reported no new cases of COVID-19 for the first time since it started reporting cases in March.
It was announced earlier this week businesses forced to close because of the pandemic will be allowed to re-open a week from today.
