A Dartmouth man is facing weapons and drug charges after RCMP pulled over a vehicle in St. Peter’s last night.
They say the vehicle was stopped after an officer clocked it at 128 km/h in a hundred zone.
They say a search of the vehicle turned up a machete, cocaine, cash, and a concealed handgun.
48 year-old Bruce Mills is facing a number of charges, including possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine, and laundering proceeds of crime.
Mills is now on remand after appearing in Port Hawkesbury Court today.
He’s due back in court on May 26th.
